Our goal is been to bring to light the complex issues that encompass being a single parent. In each of our own personal lives, single parents in some way have affected us. We have also heard the stories from children who were raised in lone parent families. We believe that parenting is a unique experience, unlike any other and becoming a single parent only emphasizes this. Our mission is to highlight these special qualities, while keeping in mind the realistic and relevant issues you face everyday.

 

We have worked hard to create a one-of-a-kind brand that caters not only to your interests, but to your schedule as well. Life as a single parent certainly is not an easy job. After taking care of your children: getting them to school, going to work, picking them up, cooking dinner and getting them in bed, you don’t have much time left for yourself—much less flipping through a 100-page magazine looking for something that appeals specifically to you.

 

In creating One Family, we hope to educate, support and inspire our readers. We have been given a unique opportunity to speak with many single parents, local support groups and industry professionals in an effort to provide knowledgeable, as well as relatable content.
